First things first…

What’s the difference between a head pin and an eye pin?

Do I need to use a jump ring or a split ring?

And what are findings, anyway?

Jewelry making vocabulary can be overwhelming at first, this is why we have created this handy findings cheatsheet.

Jewelry Findings is a term used to describe the components which go into the making of jewelry, and includes items such as clasps, earrings, crimps, and metal beads.

We recommend to our students to print a copy prior to the class (it will come in handy during class).

Now that you know the essential vocabulary, Let’s join Chloe and Amie as they showcase the jewelry set that we will make in class and guide you through the basics tools we are going to be using in the class.

In the first class of our “How to Make Jewelry” Course, Chloe will teach you two simples techniques and we will be making this very simple bohemian-inspired pair of earrings.

She will be also sharing her magic trick to make a perfect loop!

With what you learn in this class, you’ll have the skills to create an infinity of earrings variations! Making earrings is so fun!

Don’t forget to get your bundle with everything you need to take this course!

Now that you’ve mastered the art of making earrings, we are going to make the matching bracelet! A trendy seed bead wrap bracelet!

Follow along with Chloe as she goes over some basic design rules and techniques to teach you how to finish a bracelet.

You can use these techniques and the leftover supplies from the bundle to create more variations of these projects (different patterns, colors, length)!

You’ve made it to the final video of this class! We will now be combining all of our skills to create the final piece of our jewelry set: a single strand necklace.

You’ll find that making a necklace is pretty similar to making bracelets. This last project is will help you practice the techniques that you have learned and be you even more familiar with the tools and findings.
