Florida Design of the Week: Ambassador Lisa Crone

After a recent trip to Cousin Corporation headquarters in Largo, Florida, I was inspired to be creative! Seeing all the walls (and I mean wall after wall…) of beads in all shapes, sizes and colors made me wish one of the employee work areas had my name on it!

What a joy it would be to grab supplies and get creative...on the clock!

I asked myself what I would create that would fit the definition of fun, easy AND slightly left of center. This is what came to me…

Supplies:
Cord basics – red
Jewelry basics – black tassels - 4
Ribbon crimps – 2
Lobster clasp
Jump rings – 17
Swarovski leaf pendant 23mm AB – 5

Alternate supplies:
Cord basics – blue
Neon Pop – pink tassels – 4
Swarovski bicone mix
Headpins
Jump rings

Step 1: Measure and cut cord with scissors
Step 2: Use flat nose pliers to attach ribbon crimps to each end
Step 3: Add jump ring to each end
Step 4: Attach lobster clasp to one end
Step 5: Lay out each item to be attached to bracelet
Step 6: Use ruler and straight pin to mark where to use hole punch
Step 7: Use hole punch to create holes in cord for dangles
Step 8: Attach all dangles & admire finished project
