    Where does inspiration come from when all you see is darkness?  Over the past year and a half, I’ve had some amazing ups and really challenging downs in my jewelry designs!  Throw in a ton of chaos from outside circumstances and I was left looking at an entire studio full of beads with zero inspiration as to what to design.

  • Overcoming Challenges: Ambassador Rebecca Utermohlen

    You know what I wish I had? Ends and ends of inspiration and creativity. I would sure have a lot more blog posts to write then!!! I feel like I am a fairly creative person (hence why I have a craft blog...) but one of the challenges I come across most in jewelry making is a lack of inspiration.

    When I heard the topic: Overcoming a Challenge in Jewelry Making, I was a bit overwhelmed. I feel like I've just barely scratched the surface of jewelry making in my abilities. In most of my jewelry, I use very basic techniques. So I used this challenge to try something new. I've always been intimidated by wire, but love how pieces look when they have some wire wrapping element.
