Emily Necklace

Materials:

Silver 4/6mm Jump Rings
Silver Toggle Clasp
Silver Crimp Tubes
7-Strand Beading Wire
 
Tools Needed:
Needle Nose Pliers
Crimping Pliers
Wire Cutters
 
Techniques to Know:
 
 
Instructions:
1. Cut (4) 5” lengths of chain.
2. Use a 4mm jump ring to gather two chains together at one end. Repeat for the second set of chains.
3. Use a 6mm jump ring to gather a set of chains together at the other end. Repeat for the second set of chains.
Attach a toggle clasp end to each of the 6mm jump rings.
4. Attach a 6mm jump ring to each of the pendants.
5. Cut a 10” length of beading wire. Use a crimp tube to attach the wire to one of the 4mm jump rings from step 2.
6. Thread the following pattern onto the beading wire: a 4mm bicone, a 6mm bicone, a charm, a 6mm bicone,
a 4mm bicone, a 6mm bicone, a pendant, a 6mm bicone. Continue this pattern. The necklace should have 6
charms and 5 pendants.
7. Use a crimp tube to attach the wire to the other 4mm jump ring from step 2.
8. Cut a 7/8” and a 2” length of chain. Gather the chains together at one end with a 4mm jump ring. Attach the
jump ring to one of the jump rings from step 2. Use a 4mm jump ring to connect the 7/8” chain to the outer
pendant, attaching it to a filigree loop. Attach the 2” chain to the second pendant onto a filigree loop.
9. Repeat step 8, attaching the chains to the other jump ring from step 2 and connecting the chains to the two
pendants on that side of the necklace.
